​Discover local Coastal Wildlife at Sunset Seining in Belmar! (rescheduled to Aug 28th)

The Shark River Clean Up Coalition (SRCC) is hosting this special event in partnership with the American Littoral Society and the Belmar Environmental Commission.

Experience the thrill of hands-on marine discovery! Join us at Maclearie Park for an evening of hands-on discovery led by the American Littoral Society’s Education Team, as we explore the diverse wildlife that calls our Shark River tidal basin home.

Thursday, August 28 6-8 PM at Maclearie Park in Belmar: you'll help pull a 40-foot seine net through the water to discover and identify the incredible fish, crabs, and other fascinating creatures that call our coast home. It's a fun and educational activity for all ages. Spaces are limited, so be sure to register today! 

Registration is required: ​$8 per participant [*No fee for children 2 and younger], please register all attending children & adults.
