Matthew DeAngelis

Matthew DeAngelis has served on the Board of Directors since 2022. He is a resident of Belmar, NJ, where he also serves on the Belmar Environmental Commission.

Matthew leads Shark River Community Science, a working group of the SRCC dedicated to scientific data collection to support informed decision making about cleaning up Shark River. Matthew also leads and/or contributes to the following: cleanup event organization, website maintenance and technology grants, and internships.

Matthew is also an avid volunteer for other local environmental causes, including: Monmouth County Parks (Trail Keeper and Invasive Species Strike Force); American Littoral Society (Habitat Restoration); and Clean Ocean Action (Beach Sweeps Captain).
